Asahi Kasei is set to display a new range of latest innovative and sustainable collection of fabrics made with Bemberg fibre and produced by prominent fabric manufacturers at leading fashion event, Pitti Uomo, from January 7-10, 2020, at Florence, Italy. Bemberg is a regenerated fibre made from cotton linter, a raw material that is pre-consumer waste.
Bemberg products are made from a cotton linter bio-utility material▲▽□, a natural derived source△☆▽▼, and a truly unique one in the smart fibre arena that doesn’t deplete forestry resources. The company by leading materials manufacturer Asahi Kasei is the sole maker of one-of-a-kind●▽▲-, matchless, high-tech natural fibres with a unique touch and feel as well as unique performances such as moisture control and is antistatic, the company said in a press release.
Furthermore, Bemberg will present a special project, a few pieces tailoring collection commissioned to and developed with students, designers of tomorrow, of a renowned Italian tailoring school, as well as with premium lining manufacturers using Bemberg inside their production.
